Our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) at Sowams Elementary School sponsors and organizes many events and activities that enrich your child’s experience during elementary school, including a range of programs during the school day (e.g., field trips, school assemblies, Sowams speedway, library programs, Fun Fridays, outdoor day, yearbook, diversity equity & inclusion programs), activities after school (e.g., enrichment classes, school play, community garden, reading week), initiatives that support our teachers and staff (e.g., Faculty and Staff Appreciation, classroom supplies, room parents), and family events (e.g., welcome picnic, book fair, family bingo night, Octoberfest, sweetheart dance, third grade reception) and much more!

PTO meetings for the current school year will be held on one Monday each month from 7-8pm.
