The Sowams Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization funds and organizes many events and activities that enrich your child’s experience during elementary school. Sowams PTO activities have included a range of programs during the school day (e.g., field trips, school assemblies, Sowams speedway, library programs, community garden, Fun Fridays, extended day enrichment, outdoor day, yearbook) as well as programs that support our teachers and staff (e.g., Faculty and Staff Appreciation, classroom supplies, room parents) and family members (e.g., book fair, family science night, third grade reception, spring dance/party, family bingo night, school play, Octoberfest) and much more!
None of these things are possible without the help of our Sowams School Families. Being a part of the PTO is a great way to get involved and benefit our school community. We need volunteers! The Sowams PTO relies on volunteers for each of our programs. Whether you have a few hours a day or a few hours a year to contribute, we encourage all families to get involved! Get connected to others within our school community, enhance our programs with your talents and energy, and have fun!
